At Chaplain's Time on Wednesday, July 14th Alex and his friends posed for this picture and the church organization emailed it to me! LOVE THAT!
The final day of the first half of Beast was spent in a grueling physical and mental challenge, the Patton Challenge. Alex came back from a brief field trip to the Emergency Room to compete with his squad. (7.17.2010):

posed for THIS picture... he mentioned a couple of these guys as being his buddies when we spoke on the phone on July 18th... nice to see him looking so fit and happy!
